Ahmetaj's mandate, Bardhi clashes fiercely with Felaj: Your name is in the
Ermonela Felaj / Gazment Bardhi

Harsh tone debates took place at the meeting of the Council of Mandates, where it is being discussed whether or not to remove the mandate of MP Arben Ahmetaj.

The member of the opposition in the Council, deputy Gazment Bardhi, clashed fiercely with Ermonela Felajn during the debate on whether or not the session should be held with doors open to the media.

Bardhi says that he was insulted by Felaj's statements, and responded by saying that her name is in the file brought by SPAK, among the evidence for Arben Ahmetaj.

"Your name is in this file. You are afraid because your name is on the file. Let people understand that you, like Ahmetaj, were in favor of building incinerators. You are in a conflict of interest!", Bardhi declared in the ongoing debate.

Bardhi has accused the majority of being an obstacle to justice for the arrest of Ahmetaj.

"The majority is afraid that the Albanians will learn the truth about the incinerators. Mazhoranca is helping Ahmetaj to escape and SPAK not to catch him", Bardhi stated in the ongoing debate.

The meeting, where SPAK prosecutors and Ahmetaj's lawyers are present, has resumed after a few moments of interruption.
