Analyst Artur Zheji has revealed that a few days ago there was a meeting between the democratic leader Sali Berisha and the MP Enkelejd Alibeaj.

Referring to his sources, Zheji showed behind the scenes of this meeting which he said was intended to reach an agreement between the parties to unite the PD before the local elections of May 14, 2023.

Zheji said that this meeting, which was kept secret, did not result in any agreement.

"We cannot put Albania in a big bag. Only in Albania and in some underdeveloped countries it is said; we are the same thing with the protest. You cannot tell me that there is no color between Berisha and Meta. When you say they are not, you are appealing to them to be blind. There was a secret meeting between Alibeaj and Berisha. I have my sources that there was a meeting between Berisha and Alibeaj, but the meeting failed. It happened these last 2-3 days", said Zheji in "News24".
