Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today that the Albanian government has created a public company in partnership with the United Arab Emirates , which will start work very soon and will control and track the oil entering our country.

The tracking of all quantities of oil entering the Albanian market will be guaranteed with state-of-the-art technology, to eliminate evasion in this sector, as the prime minister said, and the money the state will gain from the impact of this phenomenon will go to pensioners.

"We have created a new public company, in partnership with the United Arab Emirates, with their company with the same objective, which is called AlbTreis. It is a public company that will track all excise products with technology and soon Albtreis will enter the market with its first two products, which have to do with tracking and tracing oil. Tracking all quantities of oil that enter the Albanian market will be guaranteed with state-of-the-art technology and will take what was tracking with my paints to another level. In fact, from all the analyzes done before we took this next step, it resulted that the dye that we used for oil was easier to turn into water than the paints that I use for my scribbles", said Edi Rama.

The Prime Minister explained that tracking will be done with technology, from entering the port to exiting at the border, and all vehicles will be on display in a place where only people who have a security certificate will enter.

He told fuel wholesalers that this innovation would also help them, because it would remove from the market, by fighting evasion, the "ghosts" of unlicensed fuel trading.

"This new product is absolutely undetectable by any eye other than the manufacturer's magic eye, while tracking means that we will end the era of accompanying oil entering Albania with the objective of being in transit and we will track it from afar without disturbing your drivers, who when they set off to cross the border have customs officers behind them who pollute the environment by using fuel purchased from the state budget. Tracking will be done with technology that no eye can see at all, no matter how interested it may be, and from entering the port to exiting the border, all vehicles will be on the screen in a place where only people who will have a security certificate will enter. Both of these will make your work much easier, because you will get rid of dishonest competitors who are not among you, but are ghosts; it will also make it easier for us from the evasion that evil mouths say is very large", concluded Prime Minister Edi Rama.
