Accused American officials of fines, DASH: Ridiculous, Berisha with marked

The accusations leveled against high American officials for fines by Sali Berisha were rejected today by the US Department of State.

In a communication for Report TV, DASH calls Berisha's accusations ridiculous.

"The accusations of Sali Berisha, who was sanctioned by the Secretary of State for serious corruption, are ridiculous. The United States is clear about our commitment to democracy and the fight against corruption," the communique emphasized.

As we are a little more than 1 month away from the upcoming local elections, the US made a direct appeal to political parties for fair elections. "We encourage all political parties to engage in constructive discourse and support free and fair elections ", says the reaction.

This position of the US Department of State comes immediately after the accusations raised a few days ago by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who called on the American Congress to investigate the activities of Ambassador Yuri Kim, the special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabrel Ecobar, with the claim that they are imposing the same fines as Mc Gonigal/Shqiptarja.com
