The Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, has reacted following the escalation of the protest in Tirana and the reported damage to public institutions.

In his reaction, Peleshi emphasizes that targeting the Parliament building and other public institutions, as well as turning them into objects of anger, are unacceptable.

" Vandalism has nothing to do with students and democratic protest. Violence and destruction serve no cause, but harm the public interest and society itself, " the reaction states.

" No one's political agenda is more important than Albania ," concludes Pelesh's reaction.
