Former Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka also appeared at SPAK this Wednesday.

She joined SPAK a few minutes after her husband, former SP MP Artan Gaçi, left the Special Prosecution Office.

Meanwhile, after leaving SPAK and being asked by journalist Anila Hoxha why he had been summoned, he made no comment.

Gaçi is suspected of money laundering. The investigation is brand new and relates to suspected money transfers to several countries.

The investigation began after examining the phone of a citizen who was a judicial collaborator in another case.

Communications about monetary transfers were found there and it is not ruled out that the former MP's wife, former Minister of Defense, Olta Xhaçka, may also be included in the investigation.
