Numerous media outlets today reflected the news that the daughter of renowned journalist Dëfrim Methasani is struggling with a disease, and needs financial assistance.

After the posts, the journalist himself reacted to the situation. He says he wants the media not to write and not speculate at this difficult time.

Methasani says his daughter has been in Germany for five months now, and has managed to secure the financial sum through friends. All he needs right now is everyone's prayers.

Methasani also reveals that he was contacted by Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu who has tried to help him.

Today the portals and many friends on FB have posted statuses and news of my daughter Luna's health situation, of course with the good wishes of praying and help for her recovery.

It's been five months since the girl has health problems and is in Berlin in Germany. The girl's message since this unexpected situation happened was that I should not post anything, because we do not want our difficulty and trouble to become the subject of discussion even for some undeserved speculation that hurts us even more unwittingly than her illness.

I really needed finances because the prices are known there, but thanks to my friends I have managed to do it and I am so grateful from my heart. I understand your wish, but please don't want posts and news, because I need the calm of my daughter more than anything else right now. I really didn't knock on the doors of the state, even a call from Minister Ogerta Manasterliu today, asked me to meet him to be by my side.

I expressed my gratitude, even thank him for his interest, as well as the General Director of RTSH Mr Alfred Peza who was close to me in these difficult moments. Please, friends on the FB networks and tv friends, please understand. Enough of the posts and calls for donations!
