Moderator Valbona Mhilli has reacted after leaving Radio Televizioni Albanian, where for a long time she hosted the show "Mirmëngjes Albania" together with her colleague Ermal Qorri.

Rumors have circulated on the network that the duo has been fired because of the mistakes they made during the broadcast. But both have denied that this is the reason, saying that they left willingly.

In her reaction, Mhilli says that she is being "lynched" for the human mistakes she has made, while she thanks those who have followed and supported her during this period.

In one episode, she mispronounced the name of the infamous concentration camp "Auschëitz" as well as the word "Holocaust". Also, as she recalled "Meshari e Gjon Buzuku", in another episode, she said that it was written 2 centuries ago.

Mhill's message:

As of today, I am no longer part of RTSH.

I have decided willingly and with full awareness to no longer be a part of the morning program on this screen, which I gave you with so much love and devotion for months. Let this public "lynching" of mine on human slips serve as a starting point towards free, modern and quality media in Albania.

Thank you to all of you who have followed me and given me strength and energy to smile every day on the screen, despite the problems that you don't see from your televisions.

I am closing this clarification and "Mea Culpa" with the expression of Christ: "Let the one who has never sinned cast the first stone", because it is known that the first stone is always thrown by the greatest sinners.
