Last Sunday (25.9.2022), Shkëlzen Berisha married Armina Mevlani, while his ex-wife, Sadija, mother of four children, two of whom with Shkëlzeni, continues to live in Sweden.

Shkëlzen met Sadija when he was only 24 years old, while there was an 11-year difference between the two.

Then Sadija was 35 years old, mother of two children from her first marriage. Only a few months later, this relationship led to a quick marriage that was opposed by Shkëlzen's family, due to the short time the decision was taken and the age difference.

During that fast year, the first daughter was born and then the son, a year later. In 2007, Shkëlzeni returned to Albania, from where, as Sadija confirmed in a media interview, the breakup of the couple began.

Six years later, after this crisis had started, Shkëlzeni also met his love Armina, with whom he has been in an intense relationship for several years and the crowning of the relationship in marriage is expected soon.

Now that almost 13 years have passed since Shkëlzen Berisha, the son of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, lives in Albania, he is between two loves. On one side Armina and on the other side his two children, a boy and a girl.

In the photo you see, Shkëlzeni poses with her son and daughter who are now grown up and seem to have met together during the end of the year holidays.

In the rare interview that Sadija had given, she laid out a number of reasons why their marriage ended in divorce:

" The reasons why a marriage comes to an end can be many and different. To understand them, I think it is necessary to go back in time and look for the reasons why you married someone.

I know my reasons why I fell in love with Shkëlzen, but I cannot answer for his reasons. For my part, I have been honest in this marriage from day one to day one. From the beginning the odds have been against us.

This starts from the age difference, to the family's rejection, the fact that we grew up in different places, in different ways and with different mindsets. Before meeting him, I was successful in my own businesses and independent. In my opinion, and I can only speak for my opinion, the beginning of the end came with his return to Albania. Do I regret this?

Yes! Today I feel sorry for the children, who are not growing up in a united family, who do not have their father in their daily life. They grow up so fast…

" Before, I was sorry as any woman in love with her husband would be sorry, as any mother would be sorry for the trauma that a divorce causes to children ", she said. Recently, Sadije Berisha is living a new love story in Sweden, where she lives.
