WhatsApp has become an important tool of communication not only with family and friends, but also with work colleagues.
Numerous WhatsApp groups have been formed to coordinate the work as best as possible, especially when the need for group collaboration among colleagues is needed.
For one of the employees of The Cadzi, Spain, the experience has been negative. He has been fired after exiting the WhatsApp group.
The reason? Within the WhatsApp group, employee shifts and important communications were shared for activities to be carried out.
At least, that's the version the company offered its former employee.
But the worker doesn't think so. He said the company forced employees to send daily photos and videos of what was done at the workplace, and that's why he refused and left the group without giving in to pressure from superiors.
According to La Vanguardia newspaper, the man has now addressed the union because his rights as a worker have been violated. The case spread rapidly in spanish media.
In Spain, in fact, the right to digital disconnection and respect for their privacy is guaranteed and a bitter legal battle is being prepared with the company of the man who has no intention of surrendering.
