The famous social network, Facebook has again encountered problems. Yesterday, a large number of users reported problems with the functioning of Facebook.
According to the website's statistics, Facebook users had the most problems with the mobile phone app, followed by the desktop version and a small number of users who had problems logging into their Facebook account. Users reported issues with friends' posts not showing up on the main page. Instead, they saw the posts of unknown and very "suspicious" people.
After this, representatives of the Facebook company have explained why this social network had problems with the display of posts by unknown persons in the profiles of many users. Alexandru Voica, communications manager at Meta, expressed through a post that:
A configuration change caused some people to have problems with their Facebook Feed. We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone affected and apologize for any inconvenience.

We recall that recent research has confirmed what many of us already suspected, that Facebook is for the elderly and young people use the TikTok social network more. According to the Pew Research Center, the percentage of American teens between the ages of 13 and 17 who say they use Facebook has dropped from 71% in 2014 to just 32% this year.
Facebook is rolling out new encrypted messages to keep Messenger conversations safe. The new encryption means that messages can only be read by the sender and recipient and that no one, including Facebook, can intercept them. This new feature is currently in testing so for now, users are only able to encrypt individual Messenger conversations and must opt in to do so.
