It has been 15 years since Kim Kardashian's sex tape with rapper Ray J was released. The famous rapper accused Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, of releasing the "hot" footage, but this has never been proven.
What is known is that the tape was the turning point in the life of today's billionaire, who became famous after the images came to light. Not only she has benefited, but also her whole family, becoming famous all over the world.
Ray J claims there are more videos that haven't been made public yet. We don't know if they'll ever be revealed, but TMZ has unearthed documents that break down the profit the tape generated.
Kim Kardashian's sex tape grossed almost $1.5 million.
TMZ has accessed an email sent by Steve Hirsch, CEO of Vivid Entertainment, which was the production company that released the video.

The message indicated that the tape had earned exactly $1,424,636.63. Kardashian made $1,255,578.50 from DVD sales, $126,908.13 from online sales, $15,000 from licensing sales; and 27,000 euros from the international market.
Ray J confessed that he and Kim will get $400,000 plus 12.5 percent of the winnings. Hirsch's email confirms these numbers as reported by the rapper. What the CEO of the production company denies is that Kris Jenner was involved.
