There is no end to Harry's "bombshells": Camilla made a plot to

Prince Harry continues to rock. The Duke also claims he and his brother William 'begged' the then Prince of Wales not to remarry after Princess Diana's death, fearing she would be their 'evil stepmother'

Prince Harry has sensationally accused Camilla of plotting to marry Charles, take the crown and leak stories to the press in his memoirs.

In a remarkable passage in his explosive autobiography, titled Spare, the Duke of Sussex writes: "Immediately after our private meetings with her, she began to develop the long-term strategy, a campaign towards marriage and, in time, the Crown ( with our father's blessing, I believe).

"In all the papers began to appear stories of her conversations with Willy, stories that told many little details, none of which came from my brother, of course."

The Duke also claims that he and his brother William 'begged' the then Prince of Wales not to remarry after Princess Diana's death, fearing she would be their 'evil stepmother'. Charles had tried to win over his sons before asking the public to accept Camilla, the book claims. Harry then surprisingly says meeting the future Queen consort for the first time was like an 'injection'.

He writes: 'I remember wondering if she would be cruel to me; if she was like all the wicked stepmothers in the stories I had read'.

In his book, which was published in Spain, Harry also calls William his 'enemy' and his 'polar opposite', and describes the moment his father Charles told him their mother Diana had been killed in a car accident in Paris.

Harry accuses his older brother of being the aggressor during his and Meghan's estrangement, claiming their relationship has become so strained and damaged that the Prince of Wales will only 'laugh' at him. The Duke reveals he held a secret meeting with William and Charles hours after Prince Philip's funeral in April 2021 - near the grave of King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson - but said his father and brother didn't want to hear it and claimed they didn't they understood why he had emigrated.

His attacks on William and Charles are revealed at the beginning of the Spanish version of his book 'Spare'. There the book is called "En La Sombra", which translates as "In the Shadows", and begins with the dedication: "To Meg, Archie and Lily... and, of course, my mother". The book is not due out in the UK until Tuesday morning, but various excerpts have been leaked in print. / bota.al
