This terrible question not only puts the child in front of the dilemma of which one to choose, but also breeds doubt and uncertainty. This question, which makes the child shudder, which dries up the child's soul, it seems, is impossible to remove from our vocabulary.

This question is asked by all adults without exception: parents, grandparents, teachers, journalists, even pediatricians and psychologists. No one realizes what pressure and anxiety they create for the child.

The child does not understand this phrase, as he thinks that it is the adults who should love him and not him, who is small. They also put him before a choice, which he does not know how to make.

He needs both of his parents and can't understand why he has to choose one. Adults, leave the child alone. Give you the love and security, so necessary for him, to become a good and free adult and not dependent and suspicious of others. Adults without exception, remove this question from use, if you really love children.
