The Duchess of Sussex made a rare confession about the birth of her daughter, Lilybet, in her latest Archetypes podcast titled Good Wife/Bad Wife, Good Mum/Bad Mum. In the conversation she had with the first lady of Canada, Sophie Trudeau and the American actress Pamela Aldon, she referred to what it means to be a good wife and a good mother.
Meghan, 41, revealed how her worldview changed when Lilibet was born in June 2021. “First I only had Archie. Now I'm also a mother of a daughter and whether I thought it was going to happen or not, I see the world differently in terms of how she's going to see the world and how she's going to see certain women as role models." said Meghan Markle.
Meghan Markle then described her morning routine with Prince Harry and how they prepare their children Archie and Lilybet for their day. “The morning rush I'm sure will get more chaotic as the kids get older. I have two monitors to listen to the children. I always get up with Lily going down the first steps. Half an hour later Archie gets up. Then I start packing Archie's lunch box. I make breakfast for all three. It's very important to me and I really enjoy doing it. I think it makes me feel good about how I start my day. "
Markle also confessed that they now have three dogs at home.
“I like to feed our three dogs myself. Because we got another dog that walks Archie to the door to go to school and he's so cute," she added.
