Ervina Kotolloshi left Albania at the peak of her career and has been living in Paris for years.

Ervina has stayed away from interviews and public attention for so long, but today she gave an interview for the "Abc morning show", where she explained the reason for leaving Albania. The comedian revealed that the decision to leave came when she lost her mother in a tragic accident.

"It was a decision that took me a long time to make. I left it for a very personal event in 2006. I never talked about it. I lost my mother in a road accident and the person who caused the accident did not have a license and had been drinking alcohol. The mother suffered for two months in the hospital before she passed away.

At that moment, I realized that there were many institutions that, in my case, did not function properly. In the first place, it was the person in question who gave the car without a license and who was in a hurry to catch the second half of the match because it was the World Championship. Second, medicine has not worked.

Did the mother have to be saved after this accident? The Highway Code states that you should not move him when he is unconscious. Did it have to be operated on several times? I do not know. But what hurt me the most is the judge. When I asked him why he was punished so little, he answered that 'your mother did not die from the accident'.

It was terrible because mom was in perfect health until the day of the accident," she said.

Furthermore, Ervina emphasized that the person who caused the accident did not go to prison and that she regretted not mediating the event because, as she said, it was an event to react strongly to since the institutions did not work.
