Days after Elon Musk's mass Twitter vacation shock, another internet giant is following the same path: Meta
Facebook's parent company, starting tomorrow and Wednesday, will continue with mass layoffs, as the company's CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, according to the Wall Street Journal report.
At Meta's executive meeting, Zuckerberg took on the company's business mistakes. He even said that his over-optimism about the company's growth led to over-hiring.
The layoffs will be focused on the talent acquisition and business plan task forces. Those who will lose their jobs will be notified Wednesday morning (US time).
Those dismissed will receive at least four salaries as compensation. Last Friday Twitter laid off almost half of its staff, at least that was Musk's plan.
