The world-famous singer faced 50 years in prison after public allegations made by his nephew that he sexually abused him, but that seems to be a thing of the past for Ricky Martin.

This is because the case seems to have been resolved, after his nephew, 20-year-old Dennis Yadiel, withdrew the lawsuit against Ricky Martin.

The Puerto Rico court finally closed the case against the music star.

"Truth wins", Ricky wrote on social networks, bringing the decision that ultimately acquits him.

" As we predicted, the measure of temporary detention was not extended by the Court. The accuser confirmed in court that he had taken the decision to withdraw the charge himself, without any external influence or pressure. It was nothing more than a disturbed individual making false accusations with absolutely nothing to prove them ," the singer wrote.
