It's been exactly one year since Jessie J announced she lost her baby. The 34-year-old singer made a post, where she says that even though time has passed, it still hurts.

She announced that she had lost her child in November 2021, just hours before performing at a concert in Los Angeles.

"Today, one year ago, I was told that my child no longer had a heartbeat," she began her message on Instagram. “Even though I can tell the story now without crying, I'm still discovering all the positives that this experience gave me. Strength, wisdom, sensitivity and gratitude", continued the singer.

However, she admitted that "it still hurts". "All day I just think about all the women, men and families who have gone through the same thing over and over and how strong they are. Grief is such a strange and personal journey. Time helps, but this thing never fades.
