Who will FIFA choose? Strong duel between Shakira and Dua Lipa for the opening

One of the most talked about moments before and after every World Cup is the 'opening ceremony'.

This year's World Cup will take place in Qatar, on Sunday, November 20 at the Al Bayt Stadium in the city of Jor at 19:00 (local time).

It is still not officially known who the singers will be, however FIFA expects to seal the participation of BTS and according to various media, Shakira may also be at the opening ceremony again.

According to Total Reporter, the Colombian singer will open the World Cup alongside Dua Lipa and the members of BTS, who will debut on the opening stage of the World Cup.

The 'Waka Waka' singer would not be alone on stage, as she would be joined by other artists who are currently known around the world: Dua Lipa and the popular Korean K-Pop group, BTS.

FIFA has yet to confirm the news, but rumors have started to spread and fans are already imagining how spectacular the show will be before the Qatar-Ecuador match, the first of the tournament.
