The tragedy that struck the Kelmendi family has affected the entire public opinion. Among the public figures who have expressed their condolences is Joz Marku, who had a bad relationship with Gjesti.

"The sad news of the loss of such a young life touches all of our hearts. My deepest condolences to the family and I pray that God will give you the strength to face the pain. May you be a flower of Paradise!", he wrote on Instastory.
