Iceland is not only known for its impressive nature with glaciers, thermal waters and the northern lights, but also for the quality of life it offers its citizens.
Recently, the country has been declared the safest in the world and ranks third on the list of happiest nations, making it one of the most desirable destinations to live in Europe.
One of the factors that makes it even more attractive is its economic power.

The average salary in Iceland is around 4,500 euros, coupled with a stable economy and a quality healthcare system. These elements ensure a high level of well-being for citizens.
Even in the global rankings for the most attractive countries for immigration, Europe dominated with names like Switzerland, Luxembourg, Norway, Ireland, Denmark and the Netherlands. The US ranked seventh, while the United Kingdom fell to 19th place.
Meanwhile, another ranking on happiness once again confirmed the Nordic lead: Finland was declared the happiest country for the eighth year in a row, followed by Denmark and Iceland. In contrast, the US dropped to 24th place, the UK to 23rd, while the bottom of the list belongs to Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Lebanon, Malawi and Zimbabwe.
