Several famous stars are set to be involved in Blake Lively 's legal battle with Justin Baldoni .

A court in New York heard that a "significant number of well-known individuals" will be called to give evidence in his case.

They could include Lively's husband, Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds, and pop superstar Taylor Swift, one of her best friends.

Lawyers for Lively, 37, said last night that the sexual harassment she experienced from Baldoni, 41, during the filming of the film *The Ends With Us*, which he directed and had a role in, was "devastating" for the actress.

Meanwhile, Baldoni's lawyers told the court that he was "suffering greatly," which is why he has filed a $400 million defamation lawsuit against the *Gossip Girl* star.

Both cases are being heard in New York federal court, where it emerged that Lively plans to file new charges soon.

Her attorney, Matthew Gottlieb, said they will file a complaint with new charges and new defendants, but he did not specify who they would be.

Judge Lewis Liman ordered lawyers for both sides to stop making statements outside of court that could influence the jury.

Gottlieb said Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, had attacked Lively's "character, integrity and honesty" in a series of media interviews.

Over the weekend, Freedman uploaded what he described as "evidence" related to the case.

The lawyer opened a website publishing 168 pages of emails, messages and WhatsApps exchanged between Baldoni and Lively.

Freedman defended his action in court last night, saying: “I don't want to sound like a four-year-old fighting another four-year-old by saying 'but they started it', but when someone says something, it becomes fact, there's no way to fight it.

"You start to lose things without the opportunity to have a court hearing. This didn't start with us." Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment in December.

Baldoni responded last month by filing a civil lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, 48, and their publicist, Leslie Sloan, for blackmail, defamation and invasion of privacy.

He is also suing the *New York Times* for defamation, after it reported that Baldoni had hired a PR management team to "bury" Lively.

May 23, 2023 – Blake says Justin was "brilliant" and explains that her "bravery" is because she cares.

In the May 2023 messages, there was some tension. Justin seems to be reluctantly praising his co-star.

He said, "I'm not going to tell you you were amazing, because you'll make fun of me for being sentimental, but you were amazing today."

"Thank you, I really appreciate it. I'm just a ball buster, but it means a lot to me. I take great care. And I always want to give my best," Lively wrote.
