"IA" takes notes for you during online meetings, Google Meet comes

Google Meet introduces a new feature that works with artificial intelligence, called "Take notes for me".

It is reported that this feature will automatically take notes during your meetings, making it easier for you to focus on the conversation and not worry about missing important details.

As an exclusive feature of Google Workspace, before it's available to everyone, Google is giving administrators the ability to check if their users can use it. Administrators can enable or disable the feature for specific groups of users or for all at once.

As reported, this new note-taking feature is part of Google's Gemini AI toolkit. Currently, it is only available to customers who have a Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Education Premium, or AI Meetings and Messaging add-on license.

The "Take notes for me" feature uses advanced Google technology to transcribe and summarize your meetings in real time. However, there are also some potential disadvantages. Some people may be concerned about privacy, as the artificial intelligence will listen and transcribe everything that is said in the meeting.
