Paola Salcedo , sister of soccer player Carlos Salcedo , was shot dead on June 29, 2024 in Huixquilucan (Mexico).

The victim, a famous presenter and model, was reportedly attacked by two criminals after attending a circus performance with her son.

The General Prosecutor's Office has arrested the two suspected murderers of the 29-year-old girl.

In their first statements in the Tlalnepantla Court, they allegedly tried to rob Paola Salcedo , as they pointed out that the young woman was well dressed and drove an expensive car, so they wanted the money needed to buy drug.

Paola allegedly resisted and this caused the criminals to shoot her three times, causing her death.

Carlos involved?

However, the family does not believe this version and openly accuses the former player of Fiorentina ( now in Cruz Azul ), believing that he is the organizer of the crime.

The mother, María Isabel Hernández Navarrón, wrote on Instagram:

" Justice for my daughter. The real reason why Carlos Salcedo wants to leave the country is because he and his wife Andrea Navarro are the instigators of Paola's murder . "
