Pope Francis had a special connection with Albania and the Albanians, whom he wanted to visit first in Europe. The Pope had often expressed his love for the Albanians.

And by coincidence, it is an Albanian child that Pope Francis last met in St. Peter's Square on Easter Day.

"The last child that Pope Francis met in St. Peter's Square on Easter Day is called Hera Çoba, the daughter of Nikoll Çoba and Franga Prenga, originally from the village of Jubë in Durrës and who live in Germany. They come from an honorable family that we have known for hundreds of years, since only the Erzenit River separates us from the village where I also lived.
