Appeal for measures, the Supreme Court again dismisses Berisha and Malltez

The High Court has once again overturned the convictions of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi, this time for the security measure imposed on them by the Special Appeal on January 3.

The Supreme Court decided this Tuesday not to accept the appeal made by Berisha and Malltezi.

Both are accused of corruption, concealment of assets and money laundering by SPAK, in connection with the privatization of the former Partizani sports complex in Lapraka.
