It's been 12 and a half years since Larissa Riquelme became famous around the world when her photos during the 2010 World Cup matches went viral.
In the group stage, Larissa was photographed in the middle of a square in Asuncion, Paraguay. A few days before coach "Tata" Martino's team faced Spain in the quarter-finals, the model promised to strip in public if her team made it to the semi-finals.
Although Paraguay failed to win, Larissa Riquelme kept her promise in the pages of the local newspaper "Popular".
"I had promised to strip if the team went to the semi-finals, but that didn't happen. But, our players come back as true heroes, because in this World Cup they had an excellent performance. A girlfriend never abandons her love", she said.

Larissa continues to enjoy the fame she achieved thanks to the World Cup in South Africa to this day. She has become the face of several brands in South America and, in addition, works as a television and radio presenter. Kriegman magazine, in fact, recently put her as a bride on its cover to commemorate what happened 12 years ago.
On her Instagram account, where she has nearly 2 million followers and nearly 12,000 posts, Larissa also defines herself as an "influencer". She has not lost her passion for football either, as she shows in her "story" that she is closely following the World Cup in Qatar.
