The Albanian singer, Ermal Meta, has chosen to say goodbye to Toto Cotugno in a special way. He is on vacation in Albania and in one of the bars in the country, accompanied by a band, he has chosen to sing Toto Cotugno's hit song, "L'italiano" (l asciatemi cantare).
"Last night we had dinner with my family and some friends at a typical Albanian restaurant in Tirana. There was a small band playing. I was asked to sing and together we paid tribute to one of the greatest Italian musicians who passed away yesterday. Rest in peace Toto, we all loved you very much, on both sides of the Adriatic", he writes in the video.

Cutugno passed away a day after a battle with serious illness. He became famous in 1983, when he sang the song "L'italiano" at the Sanremo festival.
Although his song only came out in fifth place, it became known all over the world thanks to the tours he held around the world.
