Two large asteroids will pass by Earth today and tomorrow.
NASA says Asteroid (2016 CZ31) will make a "close approach" this Friday, followed by Large Asteroid 531944 (2013 CU83) on Saturday.
The space rock expected to pass close to Earth today is 220 meters (721 feet) wide.
This makes it twice as tall as the Statue of Liberty which is 305 feet (92 meters).
Friday's asteroid will pass late this evening and is expected to remain over a million miles away. It is expected to travel at 34,000 miles per hour.
Asteroid 531944 (2013 CU83) is the larger of the two and will approach on Saturday evening.
NASA says Saturday's giant space rock could be up to 1,050 meters across, making it three times the size of the Statue of Liberty, writes The Sun.
The asteroid is expected to pass 4.3 million miles from Earth. That might sound far away, but it's actually pretty close in the grand scheme of space.
That's why NASA will mark it as a "dangerous approach" and keep its movements monitored.
If an asteroid passes within 4.65 million miles and is above a certain size, it is considered "close" and "potentially hazardous" by space agencies.
