Yesterday evening, the Albanian national team suffered a 2-1 defeat against Poland, a loss that ended Albania's chances of securing a ticket to the 2026 World Cup.

After this result, there was no shortage of reactions online, with some of the public expressing different opinions on the technical choices of the match.

Among those who have reacted publicly is the well-known actor Jul Deda.

Through a post on his Instagram account, he praised the players' effort on the pitch, but addressed direct criticism towards coach Sylvinho regarding the playing time given to certain players.

Deda specifically focused on the decision to bench players like Ernest Muçi and Anis Mehmeti, and activate Nedim Bajrami.

In his post, the actor writes: "Respect for the guys who fought until the end to come out of that match with their heads held high. But, Sylvinho tricked us."

Deda continues: "He takes Muçi and Mehmet just to silence the critics and us fans who love them in the national team. So he himself does not consider them as added value to the team. On the contrary, he takes Bajram out of the dusty closet and puts him on the field, even though he has been working with the national team for a long time. I do not want to dismiss anyone's work, not even Sylvinho, but football is a sport that is followed massively and as such is easily understandable. Things are simple. All over the world, the player who has minutes and scores goals plays ahead of the one who forgot to enter the field and does not know where the goal is.
