Blogger Zhaklin Lekatari once again criticized the singer Fifi on the "Arnautistan" show, after the latter made a post on Instagram, where she wrote that she regrets not being saved for her boyfriend, which was interpreted as being related to virginity. Lekatari said that it is unacceptable that in the 21st century it is unacceptable to promote a patriarchal construct. Lekatari said that Fifi needs help and to respect herself more.
"I don't like Fifi's statements that stigmatize and sexualize and objectify girls and women. When you are a public figure who has a lot of followers, you have responsibilities, you have to be careful about the messages you give. In the 21st century, it is unacceptable for me to promote a patriarchal construct, which scientifically does not exist. It is self-objectification, you give yourself to someone. Being a text writer, knowing Albanian, being Greek a rich dialect, I think she had hundreds of alternatives to write this thing. Of course she thinks so. She has problems, and she needs help and to respect herself more. It is important the message that little girls receive, who are repressed in this society".
Lekatari pointed out that it is for gender equality, and not the superiority of women over men.
"I'm for gender equality, I don't want the supremacy of women. I want husband and wife to walk together, not to colonize the other side. I'm scared of the fight between the conservatives and the Democrats. The postmodern age is putting labels that I feel close to. The difference between excessive freedom and what we would like is responsibility. You have to have conscience and awareness, not to harm others. The mistake of the new policies is that they do not put the emphasis on the individual. Regardless of sexual practices, it is important to respect the individual. We are all different and react violently to phenomena we do not understand. Diversity is beautiful. "Democracy is to live together differently".
