Brad Pitt surprises everyone: He wears a skirt and shirt on the red carpet

Brad Pitt has shocked everyone.

The actor attended a screening in Berlin of his upcoming film "Bullet Train" on Tuesday in a look we've never seen before.

The 58-year-old was wearing a brown skirt, a purple shirt and a jacket. He teamed the look with combat boots, exposing his legs and some rarely seen tattoos.

The star has many tattoos, but does not expose them often, especially on the red carpet. One design appears to be a rhinoceros face and the other a human skull, although the meaning of the two images is unclear.

Among the tattoos on Pitt's arms are the phrase "absurdities de l' exist" (French for "life is absurd"), his children's initials, a sketch of Ötzi the Iceman and a quote from Rumi ("There is a field, beyond any notion of right and wrong, I'll meet you there”).

He also has several dedicated to ex-wife Angelina Jolie, including a similar Sanskrit design in honor of their son Maddox, an inscription on the back written by the actress and her date of birth in Cambodian Khmer on the lower abdomen.

Although Pitt and Jolie have had relationships and marriages with other partners, the actor has previously said that he would not want his children to follow in their footsteps.

“They're already asking me about tattoos,” Jolie said in a 2014 interview, revealing that Maddox had already requested a tattoo and Zahara was curious at the time.

"How can I say 'No'? It is especially difficult for fathers and daughters,” she said. "For some reason, men get a little more sensitive when a girl gets a tattoo."

The movie "Bullet Train" follows five assassins - including Pitt on a train, all assigned different (but related) missions. It also stars Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Zazie Beetz and Bad Bunny.
