Eduart Kuçi's father, Arsimi, has reacted for the first time after the video went viral on social media, where his son is raped by Jozefin Marku.

In a brief statement to "Albania Live", he said that his family has experienced the event very badly and is currently not willing to speak to the media at length.

He also added that the posts recently circulating on social media were not made by him nor on his initiative.

"Thank you for your interest. We are grateful. We experienced the event very badly, because Albania is the country of Albanians. For this reason, I allowed my son to participate in Top Channel at the beginning of his career. But we are shocked and speechless by this case. Regarding what is posted, I want to clarify that the posts that are circulating were not made by me nor on my initiative. At the moment I am not ready to be present in the media, because I have nothing more to say. With respect, Arsim Kuçi".
