Camille Vasquez and Johnny Depp had nothing to do with each other and this was said by the most famous lawyer in the world at the moment. Camille has finally broken the silence and talked about what was reported throughout the trial: the relationship with Johnny.

In an interview with 'People' Vasquez reacted to fan speculation that she was in a relationship with the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor. "I think it comes down to the territory of being a woman who just does her job," she said. "It's disappointing that some media outlets accompanied him or said that my interactions with Johnny - who is a friend and I have known and represented him for four and a half years now - were in any way inappropriate or unprofessional."

Reflecting on the six-week trial, Vasquez explained that she cares deeply about her clients, noting that the entire legal team, including Depp, have come close in working together.

"This man was fighting for his life and it broke my heart when I saw him sit there day after day and hear the most horrible accusations being made against him," she told People. "And if I could provide some comfort, then of course I would, regardless of whether I held his hand or let him know that we were there and we would fight for him because he deserved it."

She said that although the rumors about her relationship with Depp are sexist, they do not shock her.

"It is also an unethical accusation that is being made," she said. "It is unfortunate and it is disappointing, but at the same time it comes with work. "I can not say that I was very surprised."

Vasquez and Benjamin Chew represented Depp during the defamation lawsuit against Heard after she wrote a 2018 article for The Washington Post labeling herself a "public figure representing domestic abuse." Heard's essay did not mention Depp by name. However, Depp's lawyers argued that her writing was part of an "elaborate fraud."

The lawyer, who recently became a partner in the law firm 'Brown Rudnick', turned into an Internet celebrity during the trial. Posts and dedications to her on TikTok and other social networks are countless as she created a fan base among Depp supporters, something Vasquez did not expect.

"It's funny, but also surreal. It's overwhelming, but I really believe that to the extent that I could inspire young women to stay in school, work hard, and maybe pursue a career in law, then it was all worth it because that's what matters in the end of the day ", she says. "And TikTok is the new medium of communication and that 's how young people and people in general really communicate, get the news and get inspired. So, if it is a forum, so be it. ”

Vasquez, who has a boyfriend, says she is very happy in her relationship and stresses that it is unethical for them to go out with clients.
