A lady asked a street vendor, "How much do you sell eggs for?"

The old seller replied: "25 lekë per grain, ma'am".
"Well, I need 6 grains, but I only have 100 lek. "Will you give me that, or go to another store," she asked.

"You can get them because I have been trying to sell for two hours and I have not sold a single grain. "I need this money to support the children", the old man told him honestly.

The lady took the eggs at the price she wanted and left with the feeling that she had managed to win something. She got in her elegant car and went to a popular restaurant with a friend of hers.

They ordered whatever they wanted there, ate as much as they could and left much of what they ordered untouched. They asked for the bill, which was about 9000 lekë, but they left 10,000 lekë, telling the waiter that he could keep the change as tips.

This story may seem normal to you, if you look at it in terms of the owner of the luxury restaurant, but it is not normal for the egg seller. The question that arises in these cases is:

"Why should we show that we are stronger, in front of those in need? "And why should we be generous with those who do not need our generosity?"

I read somewhere that someone's father used to buy things from people in need, even buying rye from what they sold, even though he might not need it.
