Another American citizen has been arrested by Tirana police following the October 31 protest, on suspicion of involvement in acts of violence.
Kevin Radosevich, from California, was allegedly photographed throwing Molotov cocktails among protesters. However, police have not officially confirmed this specific action.
He is one of the 6 arrested.
For the first time, the 6 arrested will face a serious criminal offense, "Murder of a Police Officer", which remains an attempted crime.
They are accused of attacking the blues with Molotov cocktails, stones, pyrotechnics, and metal balls and screws through slingshots. Two young men were caught by the police with Molotov cocktails.
Radosevich's arrest is the second case of an American citizen detained during the recent protests against Edi Rama's government.
On October 17, police arrested American Julien Williams and Italian Marco Benvenuto, both suspected of involvement in the clashes with the officers. They have reportedly denied the charges.
