The spokesman of the Kosovo government, Përparim Kryeziu, has confirmed that tomorrow Prime Minister Albin Kurti will travel to Brussels to meet Serbian President Aleksandër Vucic.

"Prime Minister Kurti is traveling to Brussels today, meanwhile the meeting between Prime Minister Kurti and Mr. Vucic has been confirmed for tomorrow, Monday", said Kryeziu.

Initially, the news of the meeting was confirmed by the Serbian president himself during an interview where he said that he will leave for Brussels this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

"The talks will start in the morning at 8, which means we will leave Belgrade at 4, or 4:30, or late tonight. I will go, not because I think we can do something, but not to give you a reason to blame Serbia for not wanting to participate", said Vucic.

Albin Kurti and Aleksandër Vučič have met 3 times, the last one on August 18, so far in Brussels, where the continuation of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and reaching an agreement has been at the center of the talks.

This meeting comes on the eve of the start of the second phase of the Kosovo government's decision regarding the re-registration of license plates, which is that of fines.

In the first round of talks, the US envoy to the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, was also present, who said that the US pays special attention to the dialogue between the two countries as the only solution to avoid conflict. .

Joseph Borrell expressed confidence that the dialogue will yield results and that it will not be necessary to have the intervention of KFOR troops, which was also warned yesterday by the head of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.
