An Albanian is among the most unusual stories that happened during the World Championships in the whole history.

The Argentinian writer Luciano Wernicke, in his recently published book entitled "Incredible World Cup Stories", has also written the story of an Albanian, writes Reuters.

The incident with the Albanian happened in the 1994 World Cup, which took place in the USA.

The writer writes: An Albanian entered a betting shop and bet his wife on a victory of Argentina against Bulgaria. The Albanian lost the bet, after Argentina was defeated with the result 2 to 0, as a result he also lost his wife".
