Donald Trump/ Elon Musk

Elon Musk has given about 75 million dollars to Donald Trump 's campaign in three months. This comes as evidence comes to light that the billionaire has become vital to the Republican candidate's efforts to win the US presidential election.

America PAC, a Political Action Committee, the Guardian reports that focuses on attracting voters in hotly contested battleground states that could decide the election, spent about $72 million of that between July and September, according to data presented in Federal Election Commission.

This is more prominent than any other pro-Trump Super Pac weapon focused on attracting voters.

Trump's campaign is relying heavily on outside groups to find voters, meaning the Super Pac founded by Musk, the world's richest man, is playing an outsized role in the election matchup between Trump and Democrat Kamala Grace.

Musk, CEO of electric car maker Tesla, was the group's sole donor during that period.

Today he said in a post on X that he would be " giving a series of speeches " across Pennsylvania, less than two weeks after appearing with Trump in the state.
