The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has exercised her right to vote in the second round of the runoff for local elections in Kosovo, describing this day as equally important as the first round.

After the vote, Osmani called on citizens to turn out en masse to the polling stations, emphasizing that the vote is a decision-making process for the future of municipalities and young generations.

"Today, our citizens decide not only who will lead the municipalities where they live, but also for a better future for their children. I hope that every citizen with the right to vote will take advantage of this opportunity," declared the President.

She emphasized that Kosovo has the strongest electoral democracy in the region, thanks to high citizen participation and the regular organization of electoral processes.

"I am fully convinced that today will once again show the democratic maturity of our citizens. Elections in Kosovo are free and democratic, and this is why we should be proud as a state," Osmani added.

The President also explained that local elections are a separate process from the national one, which is being conducted in accordance with the Constitution, emphasizing that institutional stability and respect for the right to vote are the foundation of Kosovar democracy.
