Donald Trump goes viral, appears dozing during White House press conference

Images of US President Donald Trump have gone viral in international media as he appears to be dozing off in his chair during a briefing in the Oval Office.

Trump was photographed standing with his eyes closed as a conference on lowering the prices of weight loss drugs was taking place next to him. At some points, Trump's eyes appeared closed, and at others he appeared to be struggling to keep them open.

These images have been used mostly by the president's opponents to question his performance at the helm of the United States.

Donald Trump is not the only president put in the media spotlight for such events.

We emphasize here that Trump himself has mainly attacked former President Joe Biden during the election campaign for lack of energy, labeling him as "Sleepy Joe." Biden, the oldest president in history, has also been seen at times closing his eyes during public events.
