One of the mysteries that followed Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony for his second term as President of the United States was the moment when his youngest son, Barron, approached and whispered something in the ear of outgoing President Joe Biden.
Now this mystery has been solved!
It was Eric Trump who revealed what his younger brother said to the then-outgoing US President. Recall that the then-19-year-old student approached Biden during the ceremony and shook hands with him and outgoing Vice President Kamala Harris in the Capitol Rotunda.
As he shook hands with Biden, he leaned over and whispered something in the departing president's ear.
Social media erupted at the time, with many people questioning what he said, and others believing Barron took the moment to whisper something "very mean in Biden's ear."
During an interview on “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Eric Trump said: “You remember that whole scene when Barron approached Biden and the media had all these lip-reading experts analyzing it. They were like, ‘Barron just told Biden to f*ck off.’”
“One night… I called Baron and said, ‘Bro, what did you really say?’ And he said it was so kind that I can’t put it into words. It was something like, ‘Congratulations and good luck,’ or something like that.”
Eric said that Baron is not one to cause controversy.
"He doesn't have it in him. He's a good boy. He might think it, he might have it in his head, but he's too polite to say it out loud. Barron is a really good boy," he said of his brother.
During that moment, Biden had a smile on his face, which was replaced by a more serious expression after their brief contact. Barron was called a "true gentleman" for shaking hands with Biden and Harris at the time.
The peace gesture also prompted social media users to say that Barron was being raised properly by his mother Melania.
