President Aleksandar Vucic has stated to the Serbian media that during his visit to China, he had a short meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, without revealing the topic of the discussions.
While he also commented on French President Macron's statements from Tirana regarding the suspension announced for the removal of Kosovo visas and the incident in Banjska, where it was requested that Vučič condemn the murder of policeman Afrim Bunjaku.
"I don't want to comment on that. It is the decision of one of the most powerful European countries. Thanks to Macron for many other things, for the friendship he shows towards Serbia", said the Serbian president.
As for the appeal of the French president for the punishment of the serious event on September 24 in Banjska, Vucic had a reply, since according to him, the official Belgrade has condemned him.
"For the remark he made that we must condemn the violence in Banjska. We have done this several days in a row, and I even think I told this to Macron when we met in Granada", stressed Vučič.
He also spoke about the statements of the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, who said on Monday in Tirana that he offered the prime minister of Serbia, Ana Bërnabiq, to sign the Ohrid agreement, but she refused.
Vucic said that "Kurti constantly brings something to sign, which everyone rejects".
"He says 'I brought you a peace declaration to sign' and you think at that moment he brought something nice for you to sign because he uses the word 'peace'. He simply forgets to tell them that the declaration of peace can only be signed by sovereign and independent states. So, the second you sign, then you have accepted Kosovo's independence", said Vučič.
