The office of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has said that the issue of visa liberalization for Kosovo 'remains open', in a press release on Tuesday following President Macron's public statement regarding the suspension of the visa process.

President Macron said on Tuesday in Tirana that France may suspend the visa liberalization process for Kosovo, due to "not respecting the word given", accusing Kosovo of not keeping the word given for the formation of the Association.

The Office of the President of France clarified this issue through a statement to the Albanian media.

" The President spoke about the tensions between Serbia and Kosovo. He said what our demands were. In this context and taking into account the blockade of Pristina, the president assessed that the issue of visa liberalization remains open ", said the Office of the President of France.
