Tragic video: The moment Russian soldiers step on mines, the car blows up
The moment the Russian soldiers step on the mines, the car blows up

A heavy military vehicle of the Russian army was filmed exploding after its driver inexplicably stepped on landmines placed in the middle of the road.

The tragic video has been widely commented as pure proof of the incompetence of Putin's forces. The video shows the moment when the vehicle, MT-LB, is driving on the rural road and it seems that it does not understand what is in front of it. As soon as it leaves the mines, the vehicle bursts into flames.

Former US soldier Mark Hertling told the Daily Mail after watching the video: “Anti-heavy vehicle mines are usually hidden underground. But if you see them, you should avoid them. This reinforces the idea that the Russian troops are not properly trained."

The vehicle in question is a Soviet amphibious vehicle used by the military since the 1950s. It can carry up to 11 people and 2,000 kilograms of weight, but it is not known how many soldiers were inside it.

Due to the numerous losses, Putin called up to 300,000 reservists, but he himself later admitted that mistakes were made in this operation, as people who should not have been recruited into the army.
