The Russian doctor who delivered the children of Putin's girlfriend dies

A doctor who allegedly attended the birth of Vladimir Putin's two children with his girlfriend has reportedly died after discovering the children's existence.

Natalia Thiebaud Kondratieva, 63, died in Switzerland on February 24, the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Dr. Kondratieva was first identified by the Russian news agency Proekt as the doctor who accompanied Kabaeva to the birth of at least two of Putin's children.

The Russian leader is known for keeping his private life secret. The cause of the doctor's death was never revealed, but it is said that she was treated by cancer specialists.

However, she is just one of a number of people in Putin's inner circle who died suddenly.

Her death comes after Putin's former doctor died a few days ago, and many of his friends and rivals have died since the war began.

Last week, a former spy oil tycoon and a former mayor from Putin's party were found dead within hours. 

On February 15, Russian Defense Minister Marina Yankina fell from a window and lost her life.

And in December 2022, a wealthy critic of Putin was found dead after a suspected fall during his trip to India.

Putin has never disclosed the existence of children with Kabaeva in Russia.
