Maya Regev has been reunited with her family after being taken hostage by Hamas at the Supernova music festival in southern Israel, along with her brother Itay. Her family were filmed running to her in hospital and hugging her after her release.
In a statement, the family said they are all "very excited about Maya's return to us," but added that they still long for Itay's "imminent homecoming."
"This is a complex time and we are now taking the necessary steps in various areas to enable Maya's optimal acclimatization and full medical treatment. We need some time to accurately address the various needs and understand our current situation,” the family said.
The statement added that "we ask the public, who have supported and strengthened us so far, to pray for the speedy return of Itay, and of course all the other hostages back home."
