Three months after the bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities, the US Air Force Chief of Staff, Commander David Olvin, uploaded a video of previous tests, which resembles how the bombing of nuclear facilities at Fordow, the so-called nuclear mountain in Iran, was carried out.
The video shows the US Air Force's B-2 Spirit stealth strategic bombers taking off from the US. Six aircraft took off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, US.
After a journey of many hours and thousands of kilometers, they arrived in Iran, where they used powerful GBU-57 MOP bombs to strike nuclear facilities deep underground. Finally, they landed safely on American soil.
The June 21 operation against three Iranian nuclear facilities, Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, took place in the context of the 12-day war between Israel and Iran.
The B-2s dropped 14 bunker-busting bombs and returned to their safe bases.
The video shows exactly one GBU-57 MOP bomb piercing the ground. Although this footage is from previous tests conducted by the USAF, it resembles the impressive way they hit Iranian targets.
This is a bomb that can be carried by the B-2 Spirit bomber, weighing up to 13,600 kilograms.
Theoretically, it can drill 60 meters of concrete or 40 meters of rock.
This summer, @POTUS asked the @usairforce to do something complex, dangerous and consequential. We followed through and did it. pic.twitter.com/9fdsAz6Lgk
