Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced that a motion will be organized that will decide on the recognition of the state of Palestine.

However, according to Prime Minister Meloni, there will be two conditions for recognizing the Palestinian state.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the UN in New York, Meloni said the two conditions are the release of hostages and the exclusion of Hamas from any governing process within the state.

Even the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, in a speech given in New York during the International Conference on the Resolution of the Palestinian Question, emphasized that Croatia should recognize the Palestinian state, considering this as an undeniable right and not a political reward.

He expressed his support for this step and that the decision will be made by the Croatian government and parliament.
